The Missouri Plan for selecting judges to our highest courts is too political and too secretive. Special interest groups and elite trial lawyers with financial interests in appointing judges control the commission that nominates judges. E-mail your legislators and let them know it is time to reform the Missouri Plan. Urge them to pass House Joint Resolution 49 and restore judicial selection to the citizens.
